Abay Industrial Development Share Company (AIDSc) is a prominent public-private partnership (PPP) enterprise in Ethiopia, serving as a major driver of large-scale industrialization, manufacturing, and resource development.
The company was established in March 2016 as a share company under the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia with registered capital 6 billion Birr and then scaled up to 11 billion ETB and launched to combine public assets with private investments to fund capital-intensive Mega-Projects like the current undergoing Abay Cement Project.
